Spyke, the Psychic Leader A specialist in Psychic Pokemon, Spyke aims to prove their superiority over other types through diversity and raw power, coupled with careful strategy and item use. His four main pokemon are: Azelf, the heart of his offensive team. A pure Psychic Type, Azelf has few weaknesses, and the raw speed and power to be competitive even against a dark type who would normally have an advantage. Claydol, one of his two walls, Claydol is resistant to many popular moves, such as the electric and ground and rock attacks. Utilizing its high defenses, Claydol is tough to take down. Bronzong, the other wall, is a Steel Psychic combination, leaving it with only one viable weakness: Fire. Bronzong takes advantages of what would normally hinder other pokemon, making it a force to be reckoned with. Starmie, the Water Psychic pokemon is the other powerhouse on his team. With a diverse move set as potent as its speed, Starmie is able to take out entire teams if they aren't ready for it. Spyke's other two pokemon are his secret weapons. Unlike most teams where they would attempt to cover for glaring weaknesses in the trainer's preffered type, Spyke's two back up pokemon attempt to sweep what Psychic pokemon can't not because of type weaknesses, but because of move set issues. What could these mysterious pokemon be?...

Scott, the Grass Leader Spyke's brother, the young trainer prefers to take a different approach with the beautiful, yet dangerous plant-based pokemon. His strategy doesn't rely on raw power so much as it does utility and surprise: Torterra, a tank of physical moves and with a unique type combo, this pokemon can handle offensive threats as easily as it can deal them out. Though its moveset isn't unique, it's still a force to be reckoned with Roserade, an special powerhouse, it is capable of defeating pokemon who don't resist in a single blow. With support moves, its survivability is something that cannot be denied. Exeggutor, a versatile Psychic and Grass pokemon can stall pokemon to the point of driving the opposing trainer mad. When stalling isn't working, its move set allows this pokemon to suddenly reverse direction and move on the offensive. Credily, the Rock Grass pokemon, another unique typing, makes Flying and Fire Pokemon think twice about sweeping the otherwise grass-filled team. With its natural resistances and high defenses, Cradily can turn the tables on the opposing team in moments. Scott's other two pokemon, mysterious as they may be, are versatile and difficult to take down. With a combination of speed, power, and a varied move set, there's not much that can prevent either of these pokemon from making a power play at a crucial moment.
